In Tuesday’s newspaper, we reported on Ariana Kershenbaum, an 11-year-old from North Andover who will be performing in Boston Symphony Hall this weekend as part of “Share the Beat.”
The event raises money for transplant research and organ donation awareness.
Ariana received a kidney transplant from an anonymous donor when she was 8.

North Andover will go to the sheep Sunday.
The Sheep Shearing Festival is back on the Town Common from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers had to cancel last year’s event.
A longstanding North Andover tradition, people can watch sheep shearing and herding demonstrations. There’s also pony rides, a craft fair, food vendors and herb sales.

Melissa Halstrom, of North Andover, is set to go on trial tomorrow for allegedly running a
prostitution ring out of her Elm Street home.
Police arrested her back in September 2007 after one of her “call girls” went to police.
