I believe this is going to be the staple game of this Patriots season and probably the most important outside of their rematch with the Jets 10 days after Thanksgiving.
The Patriots defense will win this game. This is a good matchup for the Patriots defense. Throwing last week’s loss aside, the Patriots match up well against physical teams (see Ravens), particularly on defensive line. Ben Roethlisberger at 100 percent probably gives this team more problems than he will tonight.
As for the Patriots offense, it will be good enough to win. Expect Wes Welker and running back Danny Woodhead to have their best games of the season. The Patriots will look for quick hits to either of these two.
Kicker Shayne Graham will need to hit a few key field goals, which he has done many times before.
I see the Patriots in a close, close game with the key being they get a lead and play aggressive on both sides of the ball, allowing Tom Brady to make the plays in the fourth quarter.
