Canadiens get an ”A” for effort and an “A” for hanging around when a blowout appeared in order when the Bruins went ahead 2-0 in the first period. But Christopher Higgins scored on a rebound in the right slot just 1:38 after the second Bruins goal.
The Canadiens got another goal from Alex Kovalev with 2:23 remaining in the tight second period and we have a game.
Other than the Bruins spurt for about five minutes in the first period, it has been even.
