I have to admit I was moved by the inauguration yesterday. For a day, it seems, our problems, which are many, were placed aside.
That is sort of what sports are. We forget or get a break from our problems for the short-term.
Anyway, Barack Obama has the gift of gab. He is right there with Bill Clinton when it comes to public speaking and intelligence.
He also appears to be more to the center than he touted the previous 18 months.
I like President Obama’s style, grace and class. He can do more for this country than any president, probably since John F. Kennedy.
Here’s hoping our issues with “race” become fewer.
I am proud to be an American. Yesterday, I was even prouder.
We have come a long way.
