This might not be the best news for the Patriots.
The New York Jets-Miami Dolphins game on Sunday has been moved to 4:15 p.m. on CBS, which means if the Patriots beat the Bills in the earlier game then the Jets might have nothing to play for afterward. Remember, the Jets must beat the Dolphins (as well as the Pats winning) for the Patriots to win the AFC East division title.
The Ravens-Jags game is also moved to 4:15 p.m., which also has value because if the Ravens lose the Patriots, which would have to beat Buffalo in the earlier game, could be the Wild Card entry (No. 6 seed).
Does this matter?
Would the Jets play for pride? Would it possibly be Brett Favre‘s final game? Would jobs be on the line for the Jets, including that of head coach Eric Mangini.
It makes for an interesting and crazy final day of the season.
