So, let’s see, 1st-and-goal for the Bills:

1st down … Run off tackle.
2nd down … Run off tackle.
3rd down … Run off tackle.

The brilliance of the coaching ranks in the NFL knows no bounds.
Can you picture the conversation on the Buffalo sideline between Dick Jauron and offensive coordinator Turk Schonert.
“OK, we’re compressed here in the red zone here, Dick, their linebackers and safeties are stacked at the line, what do you think we should do?”

“Hmm, I don’t know Turk, let’s run it right at their five-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle and a Pro Bowl nose guard three straight times. We’ll fool them with a lack of creativity. Those 10-year veteran linebackers, all three of them, will never expect basic running plays.”

Good call boys. 10-3 Pats, who if common sense holds, will march right down the field and grab a 17-3 lead going into the half with Jauron’s Bills stuck in a base 4-3, vanilla set.
