The Patriots have three keys to winning tonight:
1. On offense: Block Nos. 93, 21 and 41. The Patriots will focus their attention, when they have the ball, in having a blocker on each of these guys. These are the Colts three play-makers on defense, Dwight Freeney, Bob Sanders and Elvin Bethea.
2. Special teams: Win this area. The Patriots biggest advantage this game special teams. The Patriots are among the best in fewest yards allowed and most yards per return. The Colts are one of the weaker clubs in the NFL. Expect the Patriots to win this area, no matter what the result is.
3. On defense: Don’t allow the big play in the middle of the field. The Patriots will try to make Peyton Manning take the dump off stuff to the outside. The Patriots expect to control the Colts running game. Keep Manning from hitting Dallas Clark in the 20 to 30-yard range might be as important as anything this game.
