First off, and I don’t grade the opposition, Tony Dungy gets an FFFF——- for the first half.
Shame on his team for not getting three points at the end of the half. Shame on him for not having his timeouts. And shame on him for letting Tom Brady, I mean Matt Cassel, go unmolested in the pocket and putting up an 8 for 9 half.
Pats halftime grades
Offense
Line (A) … The Colts are non-existent in the box, and give it up for Matt Light and Co.
Backs (B+) … BJG-E has nine carries for 34 yards, not bad.
Receivers (C) … Randy Moss is AWOL. Ben Watson had a bad drop, to cost this team four points. Welker, Gaffney and Co. are again all right.
QB (A+++) … It’s like me taking my son’s third-grade spelling test thanks to dimwit Dungy. He’d better get an A+ against this kind of defense, or lack thereof.
Defense
Line (B+) … Ty Warren, Vince Wilfork and Richard Seymour have been big factors.
Linebackers (B) … Mike Vrabel’s been excellent The rest have been, well, eh!
Secondary (C+) … Don’t you get the feeling Reggie Wayne will be open on every play in the second half?
Coaching (A++++++++++++++++) … Again, he’s facing the dimwit. It’s a Belichick barrage.
