New England deserved better. Tony Dungy, Peyton Manning and the outplayed Colts were flat-out lucky.
Now, they are alive in the playoff race. It’s too bad.

Do you think it was Thomas’ fault, or the fact that the refs are slow with the whistle.

Did David Thomas think the play was still going, or was he just coming to Randy Moss’ defense?
Either way, he singlehandedly sunk this team tonight.
How do you laud dungy for the field goal?
Field positiotion ?
Two Matt Cassel completions and the Pats are where they would have been.
It’s like Christmas in November for Cassel, who hasn’t seen his backside touch the new turf all night.
Keep covering Colts, all the way to the end zone.
Yes, they’re outmanned, yes they are on the road, but they mixed coverages, attacked at times, played coverage in others and confused the Colts into a hold.
Now, New England can chase after the win. Big stop, even if Adam delivers again
And I sniff a Patriots defender stepping up and making a big play to turn this game.
There’s no way Indy goes the length of the field when it matters against Belichick.
The Pats have no timeouts with the final 11:33 left.
I’m telling you folks. Mike Vrabel, adalis Thomas, somebody will step up here and turn the [...]
A false start by Nick Kaczur ends the run of no penalties after nearly eight full quarters.
No adjustments on the Colts defense, which is giving up 57 percent conversions on third down.
And then, he has 12 guys on the field and two running off.
Maybe I’m the only one with guts enough to say it, I mean Al Michaels just called Dungy great. I choose to watch and be disgusted with his [...]
Haltime grades, 7-6 and it’s Patriots football coming out.

First off, and I don’t grade the opposition, Tony Dungy gets an FFFF——- for the first half.
Shame on his team for not getting three points at the end of the half. Shame on him for not having his timeouts. And shame on him for letting Tom Brady, I mean Matt Cassel, go unmolested in the [...]
We’re coming up on seven-plus quarters without a penalty.

You have to go back to late in the third quarter of the Denver game for the Patriots last penalty. This is flat-out amazing, seven fall quarters plus if the Pats get to halftime.
(I don’t count the intentional delay of game the Pats took in the fourth against Denver).
Still, it’s amazing.
Meanwhile, every third down Tony [...]
