The inactives have been announced and if you like good running back play, this is not your bag.
For the Rams, Steven Jackson misses the game, while Sammy Morris and Lamont Jordan are both inactive for the Pats, along with Matthew Slater, Lewis Sanders, Eric Alexander, Nick Kaczur, Jarvis Green and Shawn Crable.
Three quick keys to the game:
1. Fumble-itis – Extra carries equal extra exposure to the football when it comes to Kevin Faulk. And we’re going to see how the rookie BJG-E (BenJarvus Green-Ellis) handles the rock when it counts.
2. Watch the kicking game – Gunner Mathew Slater is out in the punt-cover game and Ram Dante Hall still has a little bit left in the tank.
3. Attack and confuse – Simply put, the Pats front seven on defense will not physically overwhelm Orlando Pace and the Rams. Send the heat from different spots and confuse St. Louis.
