Sox-Rays 5: Thinking ahead to World Series for a second

Here is a random World Series thought:
Who is the biggest winner, if the Tampa Bay Rays win the ALCS?
That’s easy. Phillies pitcher Brett Myers.
He doesn’t have to face the music and bring back the story of how he punched his wife in the face while here on June 23, 2006.
Myers was arrested and charged with assaulting his wife, Kim. The charges were later dropped because she refused to testify and didn’t want her husband prosecuted.
The Phillies never penalized Myers, who took a short leave of absence, for the offense.
Anyway, that story would have been headlines for at least a couple of days.
