Pedroia does it again

You want to know how Dustin Pedroia celebrated his 5-RBI night, which tied a career high, on Tuesday night?
He was just inside the tunnel, sitting in a folding chair watching TV, waiting for the field crew to stop watering the grass at 10 a.m. so he could take some grounders.
“That’s why he is who he is,” said Orioles manager Dave Trembley. “I’m not surprised. That’s the way he was in A-ball, too, always the first one on the field. In fact, I would have been surprised if you told me he wasn’t trying to beat the crew on the field.”
Pedroia killed Trembley’s team over the last three days with seven hits in 11 at bats with two homers (through the seventh inning), including the first run in the seventh inning over the Green Monster.

The Red Sox tied the Cleveland Indians for the all-time record for consecutive sellouts today with 454 straight. For the record, the streak started on May 15, 2003 when Pedro Martinez beat the Texas Rangers, 12-3.
Over that stretch of sellouts, the Sox are 295-159 and have drawn 16,261,159 fans. My guess is you have been among that total several times.
