Celtics in 6. The Celtics’ performances against Atlanta and Cleveland have clouded everybody’s view of what a good team they really are. I see those series as flukes. The C’s got back on track against Detroit, when everyone predicted them to lose, and they had great success against the West during the regular season.

I like them in 6 as well.
Take the opening 2 and steal one out West to bring it all home, at home, in game 6.

Celtics in 7, hey its the finals!!!
I expect the Celtics to lose a game at home and then win either the first or the middle game in LA.

I’m expecting a seven game series, but I’m not sure which team to pick to come out ahead. If Ray Allen goes back into his slump, it’s going to be very hard for the C’s to put enough offense on the floor. At the same time, if Odom starts out this series like he did against the Spurs then Celtics probably blow out the Lakers at least a couple of games. The Kobe-Pierce matchup is going to be the most important. Keeping Kobe out of the paint as they did earlier in the season may or may not keep his scoring down, but at least they won’t be giving him any easy points. Bringing in Posey in for Allen later in games defensively might be a good strategy as well. On the other hand, the Lakers really don’t have anyone that can defend Pierce. Kobe’s probably the best defensive player on the Lakers, but he isn’t nearly strong enough to stop Pierce from going to the basket. The key will be for Pierce to not fall in love with the perimeter shot and to keep attacking the basket.
Ok, I guess I’ll go with the hometown team, but I won’t really be suprised if the Lakers win it either. -

Celts in 6! Radmonavich on Pierce? Gasol on Garnett? Good luck L.A. If Gasol gets into foul trouble, then what? Turiaf on Garnett? I like the matchups!
