Venting about the Celtics

What is wrong?
I have a few things on my list:
1. The no-defense on Joe Johnson, who had 20 fourth quarter points. Now if this was Lebron James, that’s one thing, but Joe Johnson?
2. The uncomfortable looking offense.
3. Rajon Rondo throwing too many passes away from rim rather than finishing shots up close.
4. Bad luck. Let’s be honest. They missed about 10 bunnies. If five of them went in it probably would have been blowout.
5. Atlanta has confidence and is pretty good. Mind you, they aren’t very good, but they have two very good athletes in Johnson and Josh Smith, and Mike Bibby and Al Horford are legitmate players whatever team they were on.
6. Where has the bench gone? Doc Rivers has shortened the bench? Why? Why mess with something that works. That means Tony Allen, Eddie House, Glenn Davis and Leon Powe playing some kind of meaningful minutes.
7. Free throws. Not only did the Celts miss eight of them, but they only shot 18 as opposed to 33 by the Hawks, which only missed four. That means taking the ball to the basket.
8. Kevin Garnett forced too many shots. His forte on offense is the 20 foot jumper near the top of the key. He was forcing shots by driving and then fading away.
9. Rondo needs to get to the line rather than settling for 20 foot jumpers, which the Hawks are giving to him.
10. Atlanta believes. That’s the scariest part. Game 5 is not going to be easy. I thought last night would be, but I didn’t fully understand the scenario. The Hawks are playing with nothing to lose.
Let me know if you have any problems, which I believe you do. Rivers didn’t appear to have any answers in the fourth quarter for Joe Johnson or Josh Smith. The not-so-great part is Mike Bibby and Al Horford did nothing in the second half, particuarly on offense.
