That the Bruins took it to a Game Seven after the blowout in Game One was encouraging; they have to ride that momentum in 2008-9 and take it a lot farther in the playoffs.

I'm also enjoying the Providence Bruins and their run for another Calder Cup - they needed three OT games and a game scoreless until three minutes left to sweep the Manchester Monarchs, but so far they've made a laugher out of the series with the Portland Pirates, winning the first two games by a combined score of 11-1.

I have been following the Bruins all season long. Back in December I actually started to believe in these guys. I like the youth movement. Considering the amount of injuries they went through this year and to go 7-games in the 1st round against Montreal. You have to give the guys credit. Remember they went 7-games without one of their top scorers (Kobasew). During the stretch run they were without Chara, Savard, Ward and Kobasew at various times. They could have easily been a 4-6 seed and possibly be playing in the 2nd round. They have cap room and Chiarelli has made some nice moves (except for the first year coaching blunder) and I think he will execute a game plan over the summer. Looking forward to October again.

Good Job B's
