Here are 10 interesting observations about the Patriots 2008 schedule, which is below:
1. It’s easy early with Chiefs, Jets, Dolphins and 49ers.
2. An early bye week on Week 4.
3. Of the four trips to the West Coast, all the games are connected by back to back weeks (Oct. 5 and 12, and Dec. 7 and 14)
4. It’s easy late, too, ending with Oakland, Arizona and Buffalo.
5. While the Patriots play only once on Monday night, they play twice on Sunday night and once on Thursday night, an NFL Network game against the Jets in Foxboro.
6. The Patriots again play the Colts at the halfway mark. It will be their eighth game. In 2007 it was their ninth game. It should be a good barometer.
7. For the fourth season in a row the Patriots play the Dolphins in a late fall, early winter game in Miami.
8. It marks the sixth straight regular season in which the Patriots have met the Colts.
9. It marks the fifth time in seven regular seasons the Patriots have met the Steelers.
10. Only four teams on the Patriots schedule (SD, Indy, Pittsburgh and Seattle) had winning records in 2007.
Well, here it is.

    Do you have any predictions?

I think the league needs to use those 19-0 hats and tees that were made!

I was asked by Max for my predictions for 2008 Patriots. Well, here it is, game by game.
I see the regular season streak ending in San Diego, though the Jets game will be a tough one. I also see a loss in Miami, which is always a tough place to play.
I have the Patriots at 12-4, finishing third in the conference to Colts (14-2) and Chargers (12-4).
    Enjoy …

Bill, the Patriots will beat the Colts and the Seahawks (a fraud team from a fraud division). I’m not sold on San Diego, either. Denver maybe because for some reason we suck against the Broncos, but I think that juix will end.
