Memphis over Kansas
Apr 6th, 2008 by Bill Burt
I was wrong. I missed both games last night. My 11-year-old son got both games right. In fact, he got them right more than two weeks ago when the brackets were drawn up. He’s got Memphis winning and I’m tired of losing so I am, too.
While Kansas was outstanding last night, basically beating the team I thought was the best team in the country to a pulp, I believe that Memphis has been consistent from Day 1.
They lost only one game. That’s it.
John Calipari is a great college coach. Better yet, he’s a great recruiter. This is UMass all over again … athleticism, constant pressure and attack the basket.
I take Memphis, 86-76.

im thinking Memphis by 20. Kansas played way over their heads last night. Memphis looks a lot like the UNLV running rebels from years past. Extremely athlete.

I had Memphis winning it all at the begining of this tourney (over Tenn.) but I think Kansas just might have the horses to pull this thing out.

Well I was wrong. I picked Memphis but free throws win games and memphis just couldn’t hit them down the stretch.
