There is no doubt any more. They are legitimate NBA championship contenders.
That was as impressive a Celtics performance that I can remember.
They were down 22 points (33-11) and looked dead. It really appeared their offense, missing Ray Allen (heel), would never rebound on this night against this defense.
But they did. They also got no help from the officials, who let a lot go, particularly when the Spurs had the ball.

It’s official, Daisuke Matsuzaka will start opening day and he will be followed by Game 4 winner and World Series clincher, Jon Lester, will follow in Game 2, both against the A’s.
The Dice-K start will be an interesting one with all of the commotion going on in his life — his wife gave birth to their second child three days ago, he is pitching in his homeland and it’s the opener.

If you are interested in commenting on tonight’s game, Celts at San Antonio, I will be around for about an hour after the game.
This is almost as big as the Pistons game two weeks ago.
It appears the Utah game, which the Jazz looked borderline perfect in, was the exception rather than the rule.
