Was there any question about Tedy Bruschi returning?
Maybe a little.
As one former Patriots player told me a few months ago, “He loves the game too much, still.”
Bruschi’s role will be an interesting one based on who Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli bring in for competition at the middle linebacker position.
It appears it’s time to go after a player in his mid to late 20s, one that Bruschi could groom.
But for now, he will probably remain as the centerpiece at middle linebacker.
People have gotten on Belichick for his “cold” moves recently, letting true “Patriots” go by the wayside when they want to much money or their time is us.
Obviously, Belichick feels Bruschi has something left in his tank.
Do you agree with the move?
