This is comes with a slight hesitation because I believe the Giants are really the best team in the NFC, better than Dallas and Green Bay, which they beat on the road in successive games.
They also have held up fabulously here in the Greater Phoenix area. Tom Coughlin gets an “A+” for eliminating all possible distractions — especially Plaxico’s Burress’ prediction of a 23-17 Giants win.
But, and there is a big but, these teams are in two different leagues when it comes to talent.
The Patriots offense is the best ever. Imagine if they played in a dome like St. Louis, Minnesota and Indy have done, when their offenses were on a par with this team.
Well, the Patriots are unstoppable, literally, without elements.
The only chance the Giants have is turnovers, maybe four of them. And recent history says you will have to take some big chances for that to happen.
I see the Patriots in control, almost from the first drive. And then, at some point in the second quarter, they go for the knockout punch.
Don’t be surprised with a big game from Laurence Maroney, either.
I say Patriots by two-plus touchdowns, 38-20.

What’s your pick?
