Throughout the next week I will be tossing out facts about the Super Bowl.
The first is ticket allocation.
Here is the breakdown:
STADIUM CAPACITY: 65,000 SUPER BOWL
TICKET BREAKDOWN: League office 25.2% AFC Team 17.5% NFC Team 17.5% Other 29 clubs 34.8% (1.2% each) Host team 5%
The Patriots and Giants each get 11,375 seats to divided up any way the club wants.
When we get that number (lottery vs. VIPs), I will put it on the blog.

I saw the 1986 Super Bowl game on NFL Network last night, the Patriots against the Chicago Bears.
We all know the outcome, 46-10 … and it wasn’t even that close.
Two things struck me:
