Pats-Chargers pregame
Jan 20th, 2008 by Bill Burt
It’s very cold and very windy. And it’s only 12:30 p.m.
You can expect the worst for the AFC Championship | lots of wind and bone-chilling temperatures | today.
Patriots punter Chris Hanson was out early punting balls and everything went hard toward the Patriots sidelines. The wind is swirling. It is not going to be easy throwing the ball more than 20 yards downfield.
Chargers linebacker Stephen Cooper was running sprints wearing only a T-shirt and a pair of shorts. At one point he sat on the field, near the 50-yard line, with his arms crossed over his legs, relaxing. Apparently he was making a point, because most everyone else on the field had layers.
Cooper, a Wareham, Mass. native, played his college football at the University of Maine, which probably explains his manhood.
As news comes in, I will keep it flowing.
