Pats-Ravens weather update: It’s colder and windier
Dec 3rd, 2007 by Bill Burt
I believe Tom Brady has thrown the ball in colder temperatues than it will be tonight, but I don’t know if he will have done it with as much wind.
Outside the park, winds were swirling. I couldn’t imagine throwing a pass into the winds I felt coming in.
Once inside, the wind appears to be gusting the higher in the air you go (or the ball goes), but it still appeared pretty bad on the surface as players sweats whipped.
This stadium (M&T Bank Stadium) is enclosed, like most in the league, but it will still be difficult to throw the ball.
This could put more emphasis, as I noted earlier, on running the ball and throwing short.
My educated guess is that this will help the home team tonight.
