Pats-Ravens weather forecast: Cold and very windy
Dec 3rd, 2007 by Bill Burt
I guess it’s time to see if the Patriots can run the football.
It’s December and tonight we will see if the Patriots are built to destruct and destroy when the weather isn’t favorable to a passing game.
Temperatures are expected to be about 38 degrees. But the wind, which is slated to swirling about 30 mph, could have as much impact on the game as the Ravens defense, making the temperatures feel more like 28 degrees, which is below freezing.
I flew in to Baltimore late last night and it was pouring rain. But it was warm, maybe 45 degrees. Apparently the rain down here was snow up in our neck of the woods north of Boston.
Right now, it is sunny, and almost 50 degrees. But the winds are blowing.
This doesn’t mean the Patriots won’t pass the ball, because they always do. But it lessens the opportunity to throw the ball downfield and might lessen Randy Moss Factor.

Maybe the heavy winds will make it harder for the TV cameras to pick up every single audible that Brady calls.
