Just got back from an event in North Andover at Joe Fish’s Seafood Restaurant (my favorite!) in North Andover. I was not only there to eat but listen to Tom Brady, the elder, talk to a men’s group out of St. Michael’s parish in town.
Anyway, Brady, 63, was fabulous. He left no question unanswered, including his son’s views on Drew Bledsoe, Randy Moss and being drafted 199th overall.
He also told some amusing stories about his son’s “bad behavior” on the golf course as an 11-year old and some early lessons on playing as a team.
Brady was great. Check out the Eagle-Tribune on Tuesday, including pictures on our Web site, www.eagletribune.com.
One nugget: Brady said it would be his dream to see his son win seven Super Bowls. Think about it. If it does happen, Brady (the Patriot) isn’t even halfway there yet.

“The original Tom Brady as impressive has junior”

Has? In the headline no less? Do you close your eyes when you type?

Just wanted to say the event at Joe Fish was phenomenal. I was so impressed with Tom Brady Sr. You captured the scene in story today. Thanks again.

Nice piece on Brady Sr. Hardly a surprise Drew and Tom Jr. are buddies; Tom made that clear a few times over the years.
