It is about an hour before the first pitch and playoff baseball is in the air.
A few signts and sounds:
I chatted with local Cleveland weatherman Mark Johnson was doing his forecast from the field before the game.
For a while it appeared everything was in place for The Return of the Midges, those pesky bugs that helped in the elimination of the New York Yankees. That was until the winds started.

Weather update

Forget about the previous post. It couldn’t be better out, though yesterday was even clearer.
Anyway, weather will not be a factor tonight.
I am heading to the park in about an hour.
I will be blogging in with sights and sounds.

While the game is eight hours away, it is raining (lightly).
Weather reports are three more hours of rain before most of it goes away. There will be some overcast clouds, but there will be only a 10 percent chance of rain throughout the game.

There is a rather humorous story related to tonight’s national anthem.
It will be performed by country music up-and-comer Danielle Peck, who hails from Coshocton, Ohio and whose family are big Indians fans.

Before I get into some of the scenery a little more than eight hours before tonight’s first pitch, I’ll give you my thoughts on what will happen in Game 5:
I believe the Indians will win. I believe it will be a very close game tonight. I believe the Sox will play better than they did the first two games. But this is a big home field advantage playing this game in Cleveland.
