Live from Cleveland
Oct 15th, 2007 by Bill Burt
I arrived here at about 11:30 a.m.
My trek here … knock on wood … was a pleasure. I flew out of Manchester Airport where there was no traffic, no lines and no hassles.
I ran into Boston Globie Jackie MacMullen, who was on the same flight.
I will be heading over to the park at about 4 p.m. Tim Wakefield and Terry Francona will be available for media sessions.
Check in for updates, sights, sounds and anything else worth mentioning.
I will also be checking in during the game if anybody has questions, comments or observations.
Talk to you later.

Hey Bill:
Cafardo reminded us a few days ago that in the 2005 draft, the Red Sox took Wichita State lefty Kristofer Johnson (9-7, 5.56 ERA at Lancaster) with the 40th pick. Joba Chamberlain was taken at 41 by the Yankees. I’d love to find out what the Sawks thought about Chamberlain back then and who was driving the decision making. Now since no one is going to own up to the decision it might take something less than direct questions to find that out, but it would be a helluva story to find out where Chamberlain was on their picks chart and why he was there.
