We've been going (wife, son and myself) for four years now. It is by far our best family vacation, true Americana. Williamsport is a town still living in the 1970s-1980s in fashion and design, but the place is very clean and people as nice as can be. The facility at Williamsport is pristine. I was commenting before the first game of the tournament, the Walpole game in which the Rando kid made the catch, that Augusta National's fairways have nothing on the outfield grass at the LLWS. In a nutshell, you have to go. Your kids will be hooked and you'll have to go again. A 6-year-old can handle it. My son was 7 when we first went. Jack

With regard to the LLWS, I have a 9 and 5 year old and was thinking about making the trek next year. I was originally thinking about taking them to Cooperstown but this sounds like MUCH more fun.
