The last time I was here, the Red Sox had a day off and a big road trip awaiting them about 10 days ago.
The object of my post was to promote how good the Red Sox were playing, sans the Yankees winning streak. There were those two tough losses in Baltimore, sponsored by Eric Gagne, but the Sox bats were awakening and the starters were as consistent as they had been all season, despite injuries.

I am back after a vacation which included five days in Williamsport, Pa. for the Little League World Series. I will be answering questions about trip at any point. As I’ve noted a few times in columns over the last four years, the LLWS is one of the best experiences a family can have.
