Schilling looks good in simulated game

Red Sox starter Curt Schilling appears to be ready for the standard rehab assignment in either Lowell, Portland or Pawtucket.
Schilling threw 31 pitches during a simulated game here at Fenway Park about 3-plus hours before game time against the Kansas City Royals.
He ended the 15-minute session by striking out Wily Mo Pena on a fastball that was over Pena’s head. Of course, there was razzing.
