Other than each trailing team making some noise in the late innings, this series was a bust. It really isn’t as much fun when the tying run is on second base and the entire stadium is up on its feet.

It should be a good one with Andy Pettitte going against Curt Schilling. The Red Sox always seem to get Pettitte in trouble, only for the Yankees lefty to get out of it. Really now, Lucky?
It’s official: The Celtics are anything but.
Fans will complain that the Celts got what they deserved when they semi-tanked it the last two months of the season when it became apparent they weren’t a playoff team. But you can’t blame them. For the chance to get Greg Oden or Kevin Durant, you had to take that chance.
