Curt does it again … with his mouth
May 9th, 2007 by Bill Burt
Curt Schilling is having a great season, 4-1 with six quality starts since his poor opener. He really is, which should be the story. But for the second time in two weeks, it isn’t.
Schilling’s commented on WEEI’s Dennis & Callahan show yesterday about Barry Bonds. It wasn’t good. He was right, but he turned Bonds into a sympathic figure.
He has since apologized on his blog (www.38pitches.com), which was the right thing to do, but …
What are your thoughts on what Schilling said? And his apology?
Let me know and I’ll give you my thoughts later tonight.

Curt Schilling is a great pitcher. I just wish he chose his words much more carefully. But I’m not surprised. He’s been doing this pretty much his entire career.
Do you there will be any fallout? -

Why does Curt have to open his mouth? Every time he does he loses a few fans. He is having an awesome season, but he always has to apologize to somebody.
I agreed with what he said, I just don’t think he had to bring in cheating on his wife and taxes. Those are cheap shots.
