		<description>I look at the last time he was in the AL East, or in the AL all together. His last three years with the Yankees he was a pitcher whose ERA floated around 4.00. Then he went to the NL where he was around 2.00. The lineups are different in the AL. 
I agree, Clemens does make the Yankees better, but it doesn't make them better than the Red Sox. The Yanks have the better lineup, but the Sox have the better rotation, and the better bullpen -- even with Clemens in pinstripes.
The Yankees bullpen is so worn out that Torre has had to use Andy Pettitte twice in relief roles before May!
The Yanks' bats will beat up on teams like the D-Rays and Orioles, but they've already proven that against good pitching (the Red Sox), they struggle.</description>
