This just in … Curt Schilling got his throwing in, including some batting practice. When he was walking off, towards the clubhouse one fan yelled, “Re-sign him!” The comment made Schilling, yes, nod and smile.
Sox chairman Tom Werner did weigh in, saying “I don’t think Mariano Rivera will pitch for the Red Sox next season, but I do think Curt Schilling will.”
Theo Epstein is going to speak around noon …
