Ted Williams and Rogers Hornsby are the only two players in Major League Baseball history to win the batting Triple Crown multiple times. Each won it twice.

Hornsby won it in 1922 by leading the NL with a .401 batting average, 42 homers and 152 RBIs. He again won it in 1925 by leading the NL with a .403 batting average, 39 home runs and 143 RBIs. Both years he played for St. Louis.

Williams, who spent his entire playing career with the Boston Red Sox, won it 1942  and again in 1947.

In 1942, he led the AL with a .356 batting average, 36 home runs and 137 RBIs. He led the league with a .343 average, 32 homers and 114 RBIs in 1947.

Only three players have won the batting Triple Crown since Williams did in 1947.

Mickey Mantle did it in 1956. Frank Robinson did it in 1966. And Carl Yastrzemski did it in 1967.
