The Boston Red Sox have agreed to terms with right-hander Alfredo Aceves on a one-year, $1.2 million contract, avoiding salary arbitration.
Aceves, 30, went 10-2 with two saves and a 2.61 ERA in 55 games, including four starts, in his first season with the Red Sox last year.
DH David Ortiz is the only remaining unsigned Red Sox player eligible for salary arbitration.
