Pitcher Roy Oswalt might end up with the Red Sox after all.

A source told ESPNBoston.com that Boston still “had a great chance” of signing Oswalt.

This comes after it was believed that Oswalt had ruled out Boston and was instead deciding between St. Louis and Texas.

Oswalt met with the Rangers on Monday.

It appears that right-handed hurler now will decide between Boston, St. Louis and Texas.

Oswalt, 34, went 9-12 with a 3.69 ERA in 23 starts for the Phillies last year.

He is 159-93 with a 3.21 ERA in 11 seasons.
