The Boston Red Sox today activated right-handed pitcher Clay Buchholz from the 60-day disabled list and to make room on the 40-man roster, the club placed third baseman Kevin Youkilis on the 60-day disabled list with a sports hernia/left hip bursitis. Buchholz will be active for tonight’s game against the Orioles in Baltimore.
