Red Sox prospects Jose Iglesias, Anthony Ranaudo and Drake Britton all made ESPN’s Keith Law’s yearly top 100 prospects in baseball list.
Law ranked Iglesias, a 21-year-old shortstop who is a brilliant fielder, 45th in baseball. Inglesias batted .350 in 40 at-bats at Lowell and batted .285 in 221 at-bats at Portland this past season.
Ranaudo, 22-year-old right-handed pitcher, was ranked No. 54 in basebal. He was a first-round round pick out of LSU in 2010. He struggled last year at LSU.
Britton, a 21-year-old left-handed pitcher, was ranked No. 90. He missed most of 2009 because of Tommy John Surgery. But he returned strong in 2010 and went 2-3 with a 2.97 ERA, and struck out 78 batters in 21 starts, 75 2/3 innings at Greenville.
