I just want to point out that Im kinda offended by the fact that Georgetown is in this report considering they just entered the Cape Ann league, and are not actually part of the river rivalry. As well as you have a picture of all the other teams on your banner except Triton, which you could easily fix by taking out the Georgetown player because they arnt a river rival.

ABSOLUTELY; you may just see a SEA OF RED at the NBPT-G’town game this Friday evening.
It will be interesting to see G’town play against a “passing” team.

Oh, and Dan….Jesse is a junior; not that he doesn’t love all the publicity, either way!

It is their first year back in the division; maybe the league wanted to give them a break.
Their stats clearly show that they are not number one.
So, anybody with a brain can easily understand that.
The superbowl playoff berth dynamics do not necessarily put the “best” team forward. It is the wish of this group of CAL coaches, however, to do it this way. I suppose it is all how you feel about that, when determining the best team.

Someone needs to get Georgetown a REAL schedule next year.
It’s nice that we let them come up; but, come on, shouldn’t they be required to play teams equal to those that are played the remainder of the league?

Now, even though I am an Indians fan, I have sympathy for these guys. I thought that they were the better team when Triton beat them & it was just one of those things; although, I did not attend the Saugus game & can’t speak on what the heck happened there.

We lost our first three games last year, and (no matter what you NBPT fans want to think) were still able to make it into the superbowl playoffs with hard work. I can argue the “no clancy last Thanksgiving argument” by saying that we got ROBBED at another game by a RIDICULOUS call (and many will attest to this); so, we would have made it to playoffs anyway.

Aside from all of that, it is a new season, and this team, like all of the others, will fall into place, where they should be.

The two games don’t count for the post-season. So, maybe you’re just getting your season’s losses out of the way.

I wish you good luck; Indians WANT a good Thanksgiving Day game!
