Congressman Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., will officially announce the end of his bid for the White House this afternoon, according to a report by the Associated Press.
A press conference has been scheduled for 2 p.m. CST in Iowa for what Tancredo’s campaign is calling a “major announcement.”

Tom Tancredo had himself an expensive haircut earlier today in Concord.
The congressman received a $400 haircut at the Hair Biz Salon, with the proceeds going to the Autism Society of America.
According to an Associated Press report, salon owner David Holden also cut Gov. Mike Huckabee’s hair for the same fee, also to benefit autism research.
