Ron Paul set another fundraising record yesterday, raising $6 million. In November, Paul’s campaign tried to break John Kerry’s $5.7 million goal in 24 hours, but failed. So they changed the timeframe to win the 16-hour goal with $2.7 million raised in online contributions.

Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul set a new record when his campaign raised more than $2.7 million in online contributions in 16 hours. It is the largest single-day online primary fundraising effort in election history, according to his campaign.
