Kucinich picks up endorsement from Salem activist

Mike Garofalo, a long-time Democratic activist, announced last week that he is endorsing Democrat Dennis Kucinich for president.

Dennis Kucinich will be visiting the state this weekend. The following events are confirmed so far:
Saturday, Oct. 13
noon — Kucinich will attend the University of New Hampshire Homecoming football game in Durham.

Five drop out of Michigan primary

Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich has withdrawn from the Michigan Democratic primary ballot. The reason given was that he had recently signed a pledge promising to stand with New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina and the Democratic National Committee-approved “early window” and the action he was taking protects New Hampshire’s first-in-the-nation primary status and Nevada’s early caucus.
