Apparently, the winner of last week’s Republican bilingual debate also happened to be the one candidate who failed to show up. At least that’s what he says.
An article posted on Tom Tancredo’s Web site declared the Congressman winner of the debate for not participating.
Tancredo did not attend, saying he is only after “American votes” and not that of a specific segment of the population. The article indicated that airing the candidates questions and answers in Spanish reached only the illegal immigrant population.
Do you feel that a bilingual debate was worthwhile? Or was Tancredo right in not attending?
