Local police Chief Philip Consentino of Atkinson endorsed Rudy Giuliani on one of his first visits to the state.
The more visits the presidential contender makes, the more endorsements he’s received.
Although he’s been absent from New Hampshire this week, Giuliani received the backing of the New Hampshire Troopers Association.
Yesterday his police endorsements grew even larger. The New York 10-13, a group of 18,000 active and retired New York City police officers, endorsed him at a press conference in Sarasota, Fla.
The group released a statement saying Giuliani was always an advocate for the needs of New York City’s policemen and helped cut crime in half when he was mayor.
