Presidential hopeful Rudy Giuliani wasn’t rooting for anyone when he took in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Ford 400 race this weekend.
After the long-time New York Yankees fan took grief for saying he wanted the Red Sox to win the World Series, he was opinionless at the track.
When asked whether he wanted Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon to end the racing season with more points, he took no sides.
“I’m going to pull for both of them. They’re both good guys,” Giuliani said before the race.
Giuliani said he’s been a NASCAR fan since his wife, Judith, introduced him to the sport.
