Barack Obama is calling on an old mentor to help him campaign in the Granite State.
Harvard Law School professor Laurence Tribe will meet with voters at the Windham home of Prentiss McNeill on Tuesday. He will also meet with voters in Hanover.
Tribe, an expert on constitutional law and one of Obama’s teachers at Harvard, appears in a current Obama television advertisement. His presence also highlights Obama’s experience as a constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago.
That experience was one highlighted by Obama early in the campaign.
At a Feb. 12 rally at the University of New Hampshire, Obama told the crowd, “I think people knowing I’ve been a constitutional law professor for 10 years is relevant experience because we’ve been ignoring the constitution for the past six.”
