When 2008 comes to a close, so will Tom Tancredo’s career in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Monday, Tancredo announced that he would not seek re-election to his Congressional seat when his current term expires. He is in the midst of his fifth term in Congress.
Tancredo said the decision to not run for re-election had been “a long time coming”.
He will continue his bid for the White House as the Republican candidate, but has struggled to gather support as the primary season looms.
