Sunday night began with a house party for presidential contender Rudy Giuliani, and ended with an endorsement.
Minority Whip and state Rep. Stephen Stepanek, R-Amherst, hosted a Giuliani party last night, and capped it off by endorsing the candidate, stating that Giuliani is the only contender who is a true conservative.
By Monday morning, Giuliani was in Manchester touting his health plan in the most simplified way possible.
He said Americans will get control of affordable health care if tax exemptions are offered for those who purchase their own insurance. A $15,000 tax exemption would be available to families and $7,500 for singles who purchase an expanded low-cost insurance option.
Giuliani told crowds across Southern New Hampshire on Monday that health care should be a top priority to local voters.
He said private health insurance is more unaffordable in New Hampshire than other parts of the country. The average family pays $11,835 a year, which is 10 percent higher than the national average.
