GOP presidential candidate U.S. Sen. John McCain has canceled a New Hampshire campaign stop scheduled for tomorrow, Oct. 24, to return to Washington, D.C., to vote on the nomination of Judge Leslie Southwick to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
McCain was slated to visit the Greater Salem and Greater Derry-Londonderry Chamber of Commerce breakfast in Derry tomorrow at 8 a.m. at The Brookstone Event Center at 14 Route 111. Former U.S. Sen Warren Rudman will appear as McCain’s surrogate.
